Notification of the Ministry of Public Health (No. 295) B.E. 2548 (2005) Re: Qualities or standard for container made from plastic.

Clause 3-4 and the Annex 1 provide for the quality requirements to be followed by the containers made from plastic. Plastic containers which used for containing milk or milk products shall be Polyethylene, Ethylene, 1-Alkene Copolymerized resin, Polypropylene, Polystyrene or Polyethylene terephthalate. It is prohibited to use plastic containers to contain food which made from plastic which used to contain non-food matters or having pictures, invented designs or other statements that mislead in important information of food contained in the containers.
