Abstract
The purpose of this Notification is to improve the regulatory measures of genetic modified or genetic engineered corn containing Cry9C DNA Sequence.
Genetically modified food containing Cry9C DNA Sequence and food containing such genetically modified food, shall be prohibited to be produced, imported or sold.
The MOPH Notification (No.215) B.E. 2544 (2001) entitled "Prescribed prohibited foods to be produced, imported or sold" (dated 18 January 2001), and its amendments No. 217 and No. 246 are repealed and replaced by this Notification.
