Abstract
This Act amends the Petroleum Act, B.E. 2514.
Amendments include: the addition of paragraph 4 to section 28; substitution of sections 33, 36 and 50 with new sections; and the addition of paragraph 2 to section 84. These amendments provide for relaxed area limitations, restrictions on transfer of obligations, mandatory relinquishment requirements and royalty rates for offshore blocks with water depths over 200 meters (deep water blocks).
