Law No.1 of 2003 on manufacturing and safe management of pesticides and agro-chemicals.

The present law establishes legal basis for manufacturing and safe management of pesticides, including their components, as well as agro-chemicals, for the purpose of protection of human health and environment. The document consists of V Chapters that contain 27 Articles. Chapter I (arts. 1-4) lays down general provisions. Chapter II (Arts.5-6) establishes plenary powers of the Government and authorized state institution in the field of manufacturing and safe management of pesticides and agro-chemicals. Chapter III (Arts.7-15) regards state management in the field of manufacturing and safe management of pesticides and agro-chemicals. Chapter IV (Arts.16-24) establishes general requirements to manufacturing and safe management of pesticides and agro-chemicals. Chapter V (Arts.25-27) lays down final provisions.
