Order No. 57 of the Ministry of Agriculture validating the Regulation on the procedure and rules for carrying out activities in the poultry farming.

This Order establishes the procedure and rules for carrying out activities in the poultry farming. The requirements of this procedure apply to poultry enterprises and business entities engaged in the production of poultry meat, food eggs, incubation, woodworking, as well as the storage and trade of products of the agricultural poultry industry. Admission of unauthorized persons to the territory of the enterprise, poultry farm, and production areas is permitted only with the authorization of the chief veterinary doctor of the enterprise. Such persons undergo sanitary treatment with a veterinary and sanitary pass, and then enter the enterprise in special clothing and footwear. All persons entering the territory of the poultry farm, employees of the enterprise, are prohibited from contact with birds, poultry products and chickens. Eggs and hatching birds are accepted by the enterprise on the basis of sanitary and hygienic documents on infectious diseases indicating the date of examination of the bird for tuberculosis and other infectious diseases, as well as the date and period of vaccination. In order to create a protective zone around poultry farms, birds of all categories of farms within a radius of at least 5 km are vaccinated and treated in accordance with the plan of anti-epidemic measures for the given farm. Import and export of products of the industry must be carried out by the enterprise in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan. Fodder types of agricultural poultry include feed (cereals, shells, animal feed, vitamin and mineral supplements, fats) used for growing and increasing the productivity of poultry.
