Abstract
The Decree on which this Regulation is based charges the Ministry of Agriculture with the responsibility to organize the state veterinary control on the state borders and the protection against penetration of animal diseases from foreign states. The Ministry shall establish and organize the State Veterinary Service. State veterinary control shall be carried out by Senior Veterinary Management of the Ministry, Management of the State veterinary Supervision regarding boundary control, the Republican Epizootic Expedition, the Tajk Research veterinary Institute, the Central Asian Research Foot-and-Mouth Illness Institute, and various public local laboratories. These bodies shall form together the Uniform Centralised Service of Boundary State Veterinary Supervision. Basic tasks of the Boundary State Veterinary Supervision Service are: to establish (rules and procedures) of border entry points, to control the observation of veterinary rules, to elaborate nation-wide programs for the protection of animals against importation of animal diseases, to elaborate of veterinary importation requirements, etc.
