Ministerial Order No. 1/2008 establishing specific norms regulating the licensing for industrial mining and stone quarry extraction activities.

This Ministerial Order, consisting of 5 Chapters and 3 Annexes, establishes specific norms regulating the environmental licensing for industrial mining and stone quarry extraction activities. It provides the requirements to request and obtain a licence to exploit mineral mass, including for research purposes on mining sector. It does not apply for domestic exploitation on micro and small scale of extraction and exploitation. Annexes lay down the down the model forms to request the above mentioned environmental licensing.
