This Ministerial Order establishes other situations of extreme temporary vulnerability for the purposes of granting the One-off Support Grant for Vulnerable People. In particular, it defines additional situations of extreme temporary vulnerability that justify the granting of the One-off Support Grant for Vulnerable People, under the terms of Article 7(1)(r) of Decree-Law No. 22/2024. For the purposes of this law, the following are considered situations of extreme temporary vulnerability: a) Cases identified during official working visits to municipalities or the RAEOA by members of the Government or technical teams from the MSSI, where extreme and immediate need is found to exist, even if the beneficiary receives other types of insufficient social support; b) The occurrence of local calamities, natural disasters or social emergencies that cause sudden disruption to the household; c) Situations of serious illness, temporary incapacity or abandonment of the household's livelihood, with no support network; d) Urgent cases of immediate social risk, identified by MSSI technicians, in which it is demonstrated that existing support is not sufficient to guarantee the subsistence or dignity of the person or household.
