Abstract
This Ministerial Order aims to regulate Decree-Law No. 22/2021 of 10 November, creating subsidies for pregnancy and children, known as “Bolsa da Mãe-Nova Geração” grants. Under the terms of Decree-Law No. 22/2021 “Bolsa da Mãe–Nova Geração” subsidies constitute a social support, in the form of universal cash benefits, voluntary and non-contributory, intended for pregnancy and early childhood, aimed to improve the situation of maternal and child health and nutrition, promote economic inclusion and stimulate the local economy.
