Law amending Law No. 143-V “On veterinary practice”.

State Veterinary Service shall allocate, in the established manner, land plots for burning and (or) burying animals and livestock products subject to veterinary supervision as a result of the death of animals and (or) the rendering of livestock products unfit for use for various reasons during the period of their import from foreign countries, and create the necessary conditions for such activities. In case of emergencies or necessity, the purchase of vaccines, detergents for disinfection, disinfestation, diagnostic tools for the laboratory, necessary for carrying out anti-epizootic measures aimed at diagnosing, preventing, eliminating especially dangerous animal diseases and carrying out veterinary measures, can be carried out at the expense of the Service (extrabudgetary funds and (or) funds in foreign currency). To carry out the necessary measures for the prevention and treatment of non-contagious, blood-parasitic and helminthic diseases of animals, vaccines, detergents for disinfection, disinfestation, diagnostic agents and veterinary drugs purchased at the expense of the Service’s own funds can be used. Payment for these funds and services provided is carried out at the expense of the owners of animals and livestock products subject to veterinary supervision. Import into Turkmenistan from foreign countries, manufacturing, putting into production, sale, use and storage of feed, feed additives with an issued state registration certificate is carried out with the permission of the Service after appropriate control. The use of biological stimulants, hormones and other chemicals that accelerate the growth and increase the productivity of animals is permitted in accordance with acceptable standards.
