Law “On protection of public health”.

This Law regulates relations in the sphere of protection of public health with a view of conservation and strengthening of physical well-being of the population, keeping plurennial vital activity thereof. Basic principles of state policy in the sphere of protection of public health shall be as follows: (a) equal access to safe and qualitative medical services for all citizens; (b) priority of infant and maternal welfare; and (c) public participation in ensuring the right of citizens to healthcare and health protection. The Cabinet of Ministers shall be responsible for approval and application of the Rules for sanitary protection of the national territory.
