Abstract
These Regulations provide that no person shall conduct a bakery or sell bread unless registered as bakeries or bread vendors at the Department of Public Health. In turn, no registration shall take place unless the requirements of these Regulations shall have been complied with. Requirements set out in these Regulations regard outfit of a bakery and place of sale, sanitary norms, requirements regarding utensils to be used, maintenance of bakery, health conditions of personnel, storage of raw materials and baked products, clothing, etc. The Medical Officer of Health or Sanitary Inspector may request a list of clients and may enter and inspect any premises used for baking or selling bread.
