Abstract
This Act contains rules relative to the tourist industry in Tonga and related matters and provides for the Tonga Tourist Board.
The Board shall be an advisory organ to the Minister. The principal responsibility for the administration and development of the tourist industry lies with the Minister. The Act provides of the licensing of tourist operators. Powers and duties of the Minister are specified including regulation making powers.
