Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of Romania on the cooperation in the field of meteorology and hydrology.

By the Decree No. 2018/11246 of the Council of Ministers of 17 January 2018, the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of Romania on the cooperation in the field of meteorology and hydrology has been approved. The Parties agree upon cooperation on (i) hydraulic and hydrological models, (ii) atmospheric and marine models, (iii) early warning systems, (iv) disaster risk management, and (v) meteorological and hydrological monitoring network. The Parties shall develop cooperation by exchange of scientific and technical information, technologies, researchers, consultants and experts, and by conducting joint research projects. The Parties may organise training programs, meetings, conferences and symposiums. A Joint Committee shall be established to ensure efficient implementation of cooperation under this Agreement. This Agreement may be amended by mutual written consent. The dispute may be solved through negotiation. This Agreement shall be valid for an indefinite period and remains in force until being terminated by written notice requiring three months.
