Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the Republic of Serbia on cooperation in the field of veterinary.

By the Presidential Decree No. 740 of 7th of February 2019, the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the Republic of Serbia on cooperation in the field of veterinary has been approved. The Parties agree upon cooperation on (I) meeting the veterinary sanitary conditions, (II) residue sampling, (III) food safety, (IV) disease prevention and medical treatments of animals, and (V) restrictions and prohibitions in case of disease outbreak, in order to prevent the entrance of transmissible animal diseases and unsafe products of animal origin during the import and transit of animals and products of animal origin. The Parties shall develop cooperation by exchange of information, experts, and research results. This Agreement may be amended by mutual written consent. The dispute may be solved through diplomatic channels. This Agreement shall be valid for five years and may be extended for successive period of one year unless terminated by written notice requiring six months.
