Agreement between the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Tajikistan on cooperation in the field of Science and Technology.

The Agreement establishes that the Parties shall cooperate in the field of Science and Technology on the basis of equity and mutual benefit within the framework of relevant legislation of each Party. The Parties, having in mind their national priorities, shall give special emphasis to develop scientific and technical cooperation in the following fields: technologies, genetic engineering and biotechnology, environmental protection, energy, protection of intellectual and industrial property rights, agriculture processing of agricultural products and animal husbandry, etc. The Parties shall establish a permanent joint commission entitled to carry out research and give opinion in these sectors.
