Agreement between Republic of Turkey and the Syrian Arab Republic on Technical, Scientific and Economic Cooperation in Agriculture.

The Republic of Turkey and Syrian Arab Republic have signed an agreement in Damascus on issues related to agriculture, animal husbandry and rural affairs. Both countries have agreed to mutually share: (i) scientific and technical information and documentation; (ii) research results; (iii) plants and animals; (iv) experts; (vi) experts and information on irrigation; (vii) joint activities with respective research institutions; and (viii) Encourage joint ventures and collaboration between private sector companies. This agreement will cover five years and may renewed for other five years.
