Agreement on Cooperation in the field of fisheries between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The fields of cooperation include: (I) to coordinate policies and practices in the fields of fisheries and aquaculture; (II) to carry out joint scientific and technical studies regarding the assessment of live aquatic resources and their habitats; (III) to exchange technical and scientific information, including scientific and industrial statistics, on the development and utilization of live aquatic resources; and (IV) to train fisheries experts and share experiences by exchanging experts. The Parties agree on the establishment of a Joint Fisheries Committee to monitor and evaluate the provisions of this Agreement. The dispute may be solved through negotiation. The Parties may make amendments to this Agreement through the Committee. This Agreement shall be valid for four years and may be extended for successive period of four years unless terminated by written notice requiring six months through diplomatic channels.
