Agreement on cooperation in the field of plant protection and quarantine between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

This Agreement states that, the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Azerbaijan will co-operate in the field of plant protection and quarantine. The two contracting parties agree upon improving plant protection and cooperate in plant quarantine and against pests. The parties further agree to cooperate in limiting the losses resulting from these pests and by so improving trade and transit of plants and plant products. The contracting parties may solve the disputes falling under the provisions of this agreement by conciliation. The Agreement is for 5 years period and will automatically extend for another 5 years unless one the contracting parties terminates the Agreement by giving 6 months written notice.
