Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the area of natural gas.

This Cooperation Agreement is approved by the Law No. 7544 and the Presidential Decree No. 9741. The purpose of the cooperation is ensuring energy efficiency and diversification of sources of supply of energy to each other and European countries. The Parties seek to expand their cooperation regarding the sale and purchase, delivery, swap and transition of natural gas from Azerbaijan and third countries through their territories. The disagreement may be solved through negotiation and consultations. The Parties may make amendments to this Agreement by mutual written consent.
