Cooperation Agreement between the Republic of Turkey and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania in the field of meteorology.

By the Decree No. 2016/9206 of the Council of Ministers of 19 September 2016, the Cooperation Agreement between the Republic of Turkey and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania in the field of meteorology has been approved. The Parties agree upon cooperation on installation, maintenance and operation of meteorological observation systems, meteorological forecasting and early warning system, satellite and radar meteorology and applications of numerical weather forecast, meteorological data processing and telecommunication, and meteorological research studies. The Parties shall develop cooperation by exchange of scientific and technical information and document, experts, researchers, consultants and staff, as well as by developing joint projects. The Parties may organise joint workshops, meetings, seminars, training programs and study tours. A Joint Committee shall be established. This Agreement may be amended by mutual written consent. The dispute may be solved through negotiations. This Agreement shall be valid for one year and is automatically renewable with termination rights requiring six months written notice.
