Abstract
The Decree provides for the establishment of an EEZ of Turkey of 200 nautical miles in the Black Sea. The actual boundaries of the Zone shall be determined by delimitation agreements with other Black Sea States. Agreements previously concluded shall not be effected by this Decree (art. 1). Article 2 declares jurisdiction of Turkey over the Zone and specifies sovereign rights with respect to the Zone. Fishing by foreign vessels in the EEZ shall be regulated on the basis of agreements between Turkey and the foreign States concerned (art. 2). (4 articles)
