Abstract
Areas growing fruit trees, chestnuts, pine trees, oaks and alders are not included in the present provisions as forest areas. Survey and mapping shall be carried out by the Forestry cadastre and areas not under the forestry provisions but included in the forests by the Forestry Administration shall be reallocated and registered as forests. The law also amends provisions for timber and timber products preventing the transport without required permits, related invoice or shipping list. Integrated forestation, prevention of erosion flood, avalanche and landslide, ecosystem conservation projects shall be jointly prepared and implemented by the appointed agencies and the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. The areas under this Law and the Law on National Parks can be leased to companies and individuals for a period of maximum 29 years. Those who lease such areas are obliged to conduct forestation programs.
