Abstract
This Act widens the scope of protection of coastal zones in Article 18, by preventing not only onshore construction but also offshore construction for the conservation of coasts and marine environment. This Act adds a new subparagraph to the Article 6 of the Principle Act stating that offshore construction may only be allowed for energy generation in the areas which are designated as renewable energy resources areas by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources in the zoning plans.
