Abstract
By the Presidential Decree No. 571 of 8th of January 2019, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on cooperation in the agriculture has been approved. The Parties agree upon cooperation on (I) animal husbandry, (II) plant production and phytosanitary measures, (III) fisheries and aquaculture and resource management in inland waters, (IV) mechanization and automation of agricultural production, (V) land reclamation and modern irrigation techniques, (VI) processing of agricultural products, and (VII) producer organization. The Parties shall develop cooperation by exchange of information, experience, research results, and experts, and by carrying out joint research and development activities. The Parties may organize mutual visits, symposia, training programs, conferences, exhibitions and seminars. An Agricultural Steering Committee shall be established to monitor and evaluate the implementation of cooperation activities under this MoU. This MoU may be amended by mutual written consent. The dispute may be solved through consultation or negotiation. This MoU shall be valid for five years and may be extended for successive period of five years unless terminated by written notice requiring six months.
