Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia on cooperation in the field of agriculture.

By the Presidential Decree No. 741 of 7th of February 2019, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia on cooperation in the field of agriculture has been approved. The Parties agree upon cooperation on (I) plant production, seed development and plant protection, (II) animal husbandry and animal health, (III) fisheries and aquaculture, (IV) agricultural equipment and machinery, (V) agro-processing, food industry and marketing of agricultural products, (VI) agricultural research and extension services, (VII) rural development, (VIII) sustainable land management and irrigation, (IX) promoting the private sector, (X) agricultural technology, and (XI) the establishment of an integrated administration and control system. The Parties may organize mutual visits, training programs, seminars, symposia, fairs and conferences. The Parties shall develop cooperation by exchange of information, experts, consultants and research results. An Agricultural Working Group shall be established to monitor and evaluate the implementation of cooperation activities under this MoU. This MoU may be amended by mutual written consent. The dispute may be solved through consultation or negotiation. This MoU shall be valid for five years and may be extended for successive period of five years unless terminated by written notice requiring six months.
