Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the Republic of Gabon on Agricultural Cooperation.

This MoU sets out a framework for co-operation in the field of agriculture between Turkey and Gabon. The parties agree to co-operate in the field of agriculture and agricultural technology. The parties will further cooperate in the areas of exchange of scientific and technical documents regarding bovine, sheep and goat breeding and methods of milk production and its marketing, cooperation in phytosanitary research, soil-plant nutrition, agricultural irrigation, aquaculture resources management. It is also stated in the MoU that, study, training and seminars will be organized, the contracting parties will exchange experiences and information, integrated pilot projects will be prepared for agricultural enterprises and joint ventures between private sectors will be promoted. The parties also agree to establish a Steering Committee. The disputes may be solved by conciliation. This MoU may be amended by mutual written consent. The MoU is valid for five years and is automatically renewable with termination rights requiring six months written notice.
