Abstract
By the Decree No. 2016/9213 of the Council of Ministers of 19 September 2016, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Republic of Turkey and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the field of meteorology has been approved. The Parties agree upon cooperation on risk management, early warning system, weather forecasts, meteorological observation systems, meteorological data processing, telecommunication systems, calibration, Hydrometeorology, agro-meteorology, climate models and climate change. The Parties shall develop cooperation by exchange of scientific and technical information and document, experts, researchers, consultants and staff, as well as by developing joint projects. The Parties may organise joint training programs, meetings, conferences and symposia. A Joint Committee shall be established. This MoU may be amended by mutual written consent. The dispute may be solved through negotiations. This MoU shall be valid for one year and is automatically renewable with termination rights requiring six months written notice.
