Abstract
By the Decree No. 2017/10057 of the Council of Ministers of 13 March 2017, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Republic of Turkey and the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of animal health and veterinary has been approved. The Parties agree upon facilitating control, prevention and eradication of terrestrial and aquatic animal diseases mentioned in Terrestrial and Aquatic Health Codes of OIE and facilitating trade in goods that fall within the scope of this MoU. The Parties shall develop cooperation by exchange of information, experts, researchers, scientific publications in the field of veterinary activities, as well as raw animal material, animal by-product and feed safety. This MoU may be amended by mutual written consent. The dispute may be solved directly by same level competent authorities of the Contracting Parties. This MoU shall be valid for five years and may be renewed for successive periods of five years with termination rights requiring six months written notice.
