Abstract
By the Decree No. 2017/9736 of the Council of Ministers of 21 January 2017, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Guinea in the field of electricity has been approved. The Parties agree upon technical cooperation on construction, operation and maintenance of electricity generation, transmission and distribution. The Parties shall develop cooperation by exchange of information, experience, technology and expertise related to the development of their electricity sector, by preparing and implementing a master plan, as well as by developing collaboration projects on geothermal energy. This MoU may be amended by mutual written consent. The dispute may be solved through consultations and negotiations. This MoU shall be valid for five years and is automatically renewable with termination rights requiring six months written notice.
