Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of agriculture between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

By the Decree No. 2017/10651 of the Council of Ministers of 17 July 2017, the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of agriculture between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain has been approved. The Parties agree upon cooperation in the fields of agricultural policies, plant production, plant protection, animal husbandry, animal health, agricultural research and extension, food industry, fisheries, rural development and rural affairs. The Parties shall develop cooperation by exchange of scientific and technical information, research results, plant and animal materials, experts, and of information on veterinary checks and food safety and quality controls, as well as by carrying out joint studies. The Parties may organize training programs, seminars, conferences and meetings. This MoU may be amended by mutual written consent. An Agricultural Steering Committee shall be established. This MoU shall be valid for five years and may be extended for successive periods of five years with termination rights requiring three months written notice.
