Abstract
By the Decree No. 2017/10419 of the Council of Ministers of 29 May 2017, the Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in the field of mining between the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of the Niger has been approved. The Parties agree upon promoting the development of cooperation in the field of mining. The Parties shall develop cooperation by exchange of information, experience and experts, by carrying out joint activities regarding exploration, discovery and exploitation of mineral resources, and by technical cooperation in mining engineering. The Parties may organize seminars, conferences and meetings. The Parties may establish Mining Working Groups. This MoU may be amended by mutual written consent. The dispute may be solved through consultation and/or negotiation. This MoU shall be valid for five years and may be extended for successive periods of five years unless terminated by written notice requiring sixty days.

This MoU enters into force on the date of the declaration of all national legal requirements are fulfilled by both contracting governments.
