Notification on biological monitoring.

This Notification lays out rules for the standardization of surface water quality monitoring. To this end, this Notification sets forth provisions on the biological sampling areas, sampling periods and monitoring frequencies, sampling methodology and equipment for each biological quality component; handling, analysis and conservation and identification of samples; and the principles and procedures of the monitoring of macroinvertebrates, phytobenthos/diatom, phytoplankton, macrophytes, microalgae, angiosperm, and fish.
