Abstract
This Notification lays down provisions on the establishment of a technical committee regarding the non-military civilian ship and marine technologies and civilian ship sub-industry sectors in line with the principles and targets included in the plans, programs and strategies, in order to contribute to the development of industrial and technology policies, to identify the problems of the sector and to find solutions to these problems, and on the working procedures and principles of this technical committee. Article 7 lists the duties of the Marine Technologies and Industry Technical Committee, such as (I) to analyze the current situation regarding production, import, export; (II) to ensure the balanced and rapid development of civil ship and marine technologies and civil ship sub-industry policy in line with the requirements of the circular economy and to encourage innovation; (III) to monitor the developments in the sector; (IV) to follow the work of the International Maritime Organization, the European Union and other international organizations regarding ship and marine technologies and ship sub-industry; and (V) to make suggestions for developing cooperation opportunities with other countries.
