Notification on the import control for solid fuels in terms of environmental protection (Product Safety and Inspection: 2021/7).

This Notification lays down the principles and procedures of inspection on imported solid fuel in terms of protection of the environment. This Notification shall apply to solid fuels listed in Annex-I and subject to release free for circulation. The solid fuels listed in Annex-I may be imported only by the companies that have the Solid Fuel Importer Registration Certificate obtained from the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization. Furthermore, this Notification sets out provisions on the procedures of compliance inspection including sampling and analysis, objection against analysis report, exceptional cases and exemptions, customs procedures, sanctions and related measures.
