Notification on the import of products subject to the control of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (Product Safety and Inspection: 2021/5).

This Notification lays down rules for the import of products subject to the control of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in terms of the protection of human health, plant health and animal health. This Notification shall apply to products listed in Annex-1/A, Annex-1/B, Annex-2, Annex-3, Annex-4, Annex-5, Annex-6 and Annex-7 and subject to release free for circulation, inward processing regime, outward processing regime, processing under customs control, and temporary admission, and forest planting materials listed in Annex-12 and subject to release free for circulation, inward processing regime, processing under customs control, temporary admission, transit procedure and warehouse regime. This Notification sets out provisions on compliance inspection, veterinary entry document, control certificate, duty of importers to give information, customs procedures, and sanctions. Moreover, the products listed in Annex-1/A, Annex-1/B, Annex-2 and Annex-6 are subject to prior notification procedures in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation on pre-notification and veterinary controls in the entry of animal and their products, the Regulation on official controls of imported food and feed of plant origin and the Regulation on the import of plant protection products and their raw materials.
