Abstract
The aim of this Notification is to ensure that wine is produced with the right technique and sanitary procedures. The Notification covers Wine, fortified wine, sparkling wine produced by méthode traditionnelle, sparkling wine produced by carbon dioxide injection, semi sparkling wine, wine classified by region, wine classified by grape. It defines the product features of wine and the rules and procedures of preparation, processing, packaging, labelling, conservation, storage, transportation and sales. The Notification further covers provisions on additives, contaminants, pesticide residues and hygiene.
