Abstract
This Notification sets forth the methods and procedures of sampling and analysis of the levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, inorganic tin, 3-MCPD and benzopyrene in certain foodstuffs for official controls. The Notification consists 10 articles and 2 annex clauses. The Notification is drafted in accordance with the Commission Regulation (EC) No 333/2007 laying down the methods of sampling and analysis for the official control of the levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, inorganic tin, 3-MCPD and benzo(a)pyrene in foodstuffs.

The provisions of this Notification are governed by the Minister of Food Agriculture and Livestock. This Notification repeals the Notification on methods of sampling and analysis for the official control of the levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, inorganic tin, 3-MCPD, 1,2-diol and benzopyrene in foodstuffs dated 2008.
