Abstract
This Notification determines the terms and conditions of use of certain epoxy derivatives in materials and articles intended to come into contact with food. The Notification consists 11 articles and an annex detailing the migration limits of BADGE (2,2-bis (4-hydroxyphenyl) propane bis (2,3-epoxy propyl) ether, CAS No: 001675-54-3). The notification is drafted in accordance with the European Commission Regulation (EC) No 1895/2005 on the restriction of use of certain epoxy derivatives in materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.
