Notification No. 2018/21 on quality control over specific exported and imported agricultural commodities.

This Notification sets forth procedures and principles of quality control over exported and imported agricultural commodities which are listed in Annex-I and Annex-II. This Notification shall apply to the exported commodities that are subject to export regime and inward processing regime and to the imported commodities that are subject to release free for circulation and inward processing regime. This Notification sets forth provisions on risk assessment in international trade, quality control, inspection, customs procedures, importer’s and exporter’s obligations, sampling, analysis, labeling, certification, sanctions and authorities.
