Notification No. 2026/9 on supporting agricultural investments within the scope of rural development support.

This Notification lays down the procedures and principles governing the support of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) giving priority to agricultural organizations, women entrepreneurs, and young entrepreneurs; the creation of alternative sources of income in rural areas; the strengthening of the rural economic infrastructure; the promotion of the adoption by producers of new technologies developed for agricultural activities; the support of data-driven production and smart agriculture applications; the enhancement of the effectiveness of ongoing rural development initiatives; and the support of rural development investments incorporating new technologies. The investment areas for which grant support will be provided for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises within the scope of the program include processing, packaging, and storage of agricultural products; agricultural production; aquaculture; processing, packaging, and storage of animal and plant-derived fertilizers; shared machinery park for agricultural organizations; beekeeping; digitalization in agriculture, data management, and smart farming applications; artificial intelligence-based decision support systems and production monitoring technologies; use of robotics, automation, and image processing systems in agriculture; silkworm farming; and water-saving agricultural irrigation systems.
