Notification on planning for the conservation of basin supplying drinking water.

This Notification lays down the procedures and principles for the planning of the conservation of basins supplying drinking water and designation of water conservation zones. This Notification shall apply to technical principles for the preparation, approval, launching, modification and implementation of the conservation plans. This Notification sets forth provisions on the general matters regarding planning, determination of the current situation of basins, water quality monitoring in basins, development of conservation policy and action plans, data transfer to geographical information system, and the preparation, approval, launching, modification, implementation and evaluation of the conservation plans.
