Notification on technical procedures for drinking water treatment facilities.

This Regulation lays down technical standards for the design, operation and equipment of drinking water treatment facilities to treat and filter water supplied from surface and groundwater resources. This Regulation aims at protecting human health and the environment. This Regulation sets forth provisions on water quality standards, pre- and final-disinfestation of water, filtration, disposal of residues, clean water tanks, transport and storage of chemical substances, and treatment processes for micropollutants, cyanobacteria and cyanotoxins. The quality of treated and filtered water shall meet the standards determined by the Regulation on water intended for human consumption.
