Presidential Decree No. 135 on the measures taken in the field of agriculture under the state of emergency.

This Decree lays down the procedures and principles of one-time support to beehive, cattle, sheep and poultry breeders who are affected by the earthquakes that occurred on 6 February 2023. The purposes of this Decree are to ensure the sustainability of livestock activities, to increase productivity and to ensure animal health and welfare. Support will be provided in the forms of live animals and sugar for feeding purposes. Live animal support shall be provided in proportion to the number of beehives, cattle, sheep and poultry that are found to have perished. These animals which are detected as perished, must have been registered in the Livestock Information System of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Sugar support shall be provided for beekeepers, up to 4 kilograms per hive, for feeding purposes.
