Presidential Decree No. 8194 on supporting the activation of the use of agricultural lands.

This Decree sets out the procedures and principles for supporting investment projects to activate the use of agricultural lands with the aim of increasing plant production by using appropriate agricultural production methods, with priority given to areas that are not processed, fallow and unsuitable for cultivation. This Decree shall apply to grant payments for investment projects prepared and approved by the Ministry to develop crop production and increase agricultural output. Grant payments within the scope of this Decree cover the period between 1 January 2024 and 31 December 2024 and shall be made to projects covering the following subjects: (I) bringing uncultivated or fallow lands into agricultural production by using appropriate rotation plans and planting methods, (II) improving the production of oilseed plants, legumes, grains and vegetables with appropriate varieties, taking into account climate change, (III) increasing the production of high value-added plant species on lands that are not suitable for cultivation, and (IV) increasing the productivity of plant species existing in their natural ecology per unit area through grafting, variety change and similar technical applications.
