Abstract
This Regulation inserts a new paragraph to Article 36 of the principal Regulation regarding the discharge of industrial cooling waters into the sea from Nuclear Power Plants and states that it is not subject to the conditions detemined in Article 33(4) of the principal Regulation. Table 9.6 in the Annex of the principal Regulation is also amended relating to temperature criteria for using sea water for cooling purposes in Nuclear Power Plants and discharge into the sea through a channel or deep sea discharge.
