Regulation concerning seedbeds.

This Regulation sets forth the rules and procedures applicable to seed and plant production. It provides for the establishment of a seedbed commission in each province. These commissions will be in charge of (i) evaluating and accepting seed production applications and (ii) defining special production areas. Those who wish to produce certified seeds must apply to the competent provincial agricultural authority to obtain the permit from the commission. The permit will be based upon a contract. Further provisions concern training of seed producers and related financial support granted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
