Abstract
The aim of this regulation is to determine the official control principles of food of animal origin, protecting the rules of food hygiene, public health, animal health and animal welfare in addition to the articles of the Regulation on Official Controls of Food and Animal Feed. The Regulation covers only principles and procedures relating to the activities that The Regulation of Special Hygiene Rules for Food of Animal Origin is applied and related.

Entry into force notes
Articles 40, 41, 43 of this Regulation enters into force on 31 December 2012, Articles 12, 13, 19, 20 on 31 December 2013, all the other articles enter into force on the day the Regulation is published in the Official Journal.
Notes
The provisions of this Regulation are governed by the Minister of Food Agriculture and Livestock.
