Abstract
This Regulation lays down rules for the establishment and management of the National Geographic Information System; identification and entering of geographic data and information into the system; sharing of geographic data, geographic data services and the related metadata; the establishment and functioning of the Coordination Council, Technical Committee and study groups; and strengthening the cooperation between the relevant institutions. The metadata profile of National Geographic Information System shall be determined and updated by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization in accordance with the national and international standards and user requirements. The National Geographic Data Portal shall be established and operated by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.
