Abstract
This Regulation aims at protection of human health, animal health, animal welfare and environment. This Regulation sets forth procedures and principles of authorization of feed additives, as well as provisions on inspection and labeling of feed additives and premixtures. This Regulation shall not apply to processing aids and veterinary medicinal products with the exception of coccidiostats and histomonostats used as feed additives. This Regulation was drafted in accordance with the Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 September 2003 on additives for use in animal nutrition and the Commission Regulation (EU) No 892/2010 of 8 October 2010 on the status of certain products with regard to feed additives within the scope of Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force after six months from the day it is published in the Official Gazette.
Notes
The provisions of this Regulation are governed by the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock.
